HELLO, FANS!!! I AM ALMOST FINISHED WITH MY NEW CD - NOBODY ELSE'S DREAM!
Here's a description of these two CD release concerts which you'll find along with the concert flyers on the calendar of my website. I wish all of you could join me for these concerts in Helena and Missoula. They will be a fine culmination of the 7 months I've spent arranging and recording, beginning in Eureka, CA and closing in Missoula, MT.
During this time I have had the opportunity to create and play with some of my "best friends ever." I think you'll love the results.
The CD will be available through my website beginning October 23. I am so excited to share it with you.
I will try to procure some good video footage of the concerts to post for you.
Thanks so much for your ongoing support!

<< If you can make it to either of these CD release concerts, don't miss the opportunity! Judy's wide range of musical styles is present in a new and big way with the Nobody Else's Dream Band. Judy will begin the evening with her trumpet-playing power statement (yes, trumpet) on "No Turning Back." Beth and Crystal, together for the first time on stage, will be an ongoing delight with their harmony vocals and their duets on mandolin and violin. When Crystal starts ROCKING her fiddle and Tami starts walking her bass on "Nobody Else's Dream," Judy will surely deliver that song in all its raw strength.
Beth and Janet have been playing together for years in Missoula and have collaborated for many concerts and albums in the past with Judy. They may bring you to tears on "Bless This House." They'll also pull out some longtime Fjell favorites such as "Livin' on Dreams." Janet and Judy's new guitar-cello arrangement of Malvina Reynold's "The Desert" for this CD is perennial goose bump material.
If you feel like dancing, Tami Pallingston (bass) and Judy will set the grooves throughout the evening - "Will You Join Me on This Journey' (reggae), "Imaginary Lines" (Dylanesque folk rock), and Bob Wills western swing ("Queer As a Three Dollar Bill").
When the time comes for Judy to close the concert, Beth and Crystal will pull out all the sweetest stops on their twin fiddle arrangement of "Flowers in My Pocket." Surely everyone will go home feeling that the air is ringing with Judy Fjell's extraordinary musical gifts magnified by the contributions of her dear and talented friends.>>
