Greetings to all of you in these confusing, troublesome, and constantly changing times. I wish I were able to see it in another way, but I think this is what we've got for now.
In the middle of it all, I know that I need music, the love of friends, and the beauty of nature. In this spirit, my dear partner Katie and I are packing up the Scamp trailer and the dogs and heading out on a combination tour/vacation to the Pacific Northwest. We'll treasure our visits with family, longtime friends, and our favorite beaches.
I always love performing, but this time it's a precious privilege to be able to present concerts in Olympia, Portland, Corvallis and Roseburg with members of the "Nobody Else's Dream Band." My deepest thanks to Beth Youngblood, Janet Haarvig, Mackenzie Jones, Crystal Reeves, and Tami Pallingston for joining me on this once-in-a-lifetime tour. Thanks also to Doodle Kravit-Smith, New Traditions Cafe, Marylyn John, Julie Earnest, Cliff and Chere Pereira, Lillene Fifield and the Umpqua Unitarian Universalist Church for helping make these concerts happen!
And, enormous thanks to Katie for her help - it's going to be a great trip! I"m looking forward to long walks on Tillicum Beach and sitting amongst the laughing rocks laugh in the surf at Yaquina Head.
2022 SPRING CONCERTS The Nobody Else's Dream Band - My beautiful, gifted and wonderful friends: Beth Youngblood (violin/vocals), Janet Haarvig (cello, vocals), Tami Pallingston (bass), Crystal Reeves (violin/vocals), and Mackenzie Jones (ukulele/bass/vocals). Attendance numbers at these concerts will be limited and protocol will be observed to make them as safe as possible for all of us in these COVID times.
